El cuento de la isla: Villas de la Marina

Simplicity, sun, heat, magic moment at Lanzarote. Regardless of whether you like modest or luxury accommodation, I’m sure that deep down you dream of your own villa with a swimming pool and exotic garden. And moreover – the sound of the sea behind the fence…

Lanzarote is a wild island. When we planned a trip to this place, we dreamed about the night in a tent. I know it sounds strange when you look at these pictures… 🙂 But it is true. We decided that nothing brings us closer to the local nature as a night on the beach. And so we did – spent a unique three nights in a tent, circling the entire island by car. And then again, we wanted something more… Another part of our trip was Villas de la Marina – Real diamond in the heart of Playa Blanca. We were invited there by Manuel Suarez, entrepreneur who created a complex of identical, luxury villas. Located in the spectacular Marina Rubicón, the 8 villas of Villas de la Marina are just 3 minute walk from the sea front. Plenty of restaurants and shops and the best beaches of Lanzarote within reach.

Each villa has its own private swimming pool with private parking space and is provided with services like air conditioning, wifi, Satellite TV, and all common appliances that you will need during your holidays.

Let’s face it, with an average of over 300 days of sunshine a year, there’s no other place like Lanzarote within a 4 hour flight from central Europe & UK. Private villa is a great alternative to commercial hotel in the resort. What amazed us the most? Despite the proximity of neighbors, you can enjoy a valuable privacy. Tale garden gives the place a unique tropical climate! Villa is fully equipped with all the amenities you need.  You can use the three bathrooms, large spacious kitchen, two bedrooms and you have plenty of space in the wardrobes!

What I love the most – white. Spatial planning of Lanzarote orders the construction of white buildings, sometimes with a touch of black stone. Entering the villa – interior design is maintained in the same vein white. This gives a sense of calm, relaxation and exceptional luxury. This is the effect of minimalism, and hence – the charm of Villas de la Marina.

Time here is invaluable. You forget about everyday life, You can collect your thoughts, focus on yourself and Canarian air. It sounds idyllic but believe me – I can’t remember the last time to rest as much as here. We see a lot of places, We get to know the beautiful hotels, loving writing about it so much that we forget about the rest. Thanks to Manuel, we remember what true delight doing nothing. Elisabeth Gilbert say:  “You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life so bad, work on the mind. That’s the only thing you should be trying to control.”  Villas de la Marina is by far the best place to collect your thoughts and calm the soul.
